Introduction to the Chakras

This video is an introduction to the Chakras and the Chakra system. The word Chakra comes from ancient Sanskrit and translates to "wheel". These "wheels" relate to different aspects of our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual self.

They can be approached in ascending order: the root chakra, the sacral chakra, the solar plexus chakra, the heart chakra, the throat chakra, the third eye chakra and the crown chakra.

Take some time now to reflect on the colors you often worked with in the Conscious Release meditation. Which colors came up the most often? Take note of that and consider those colors as you move on and learn about the chakras.

Also, spend an evening in meditation and then journal about the aspects of yourself and your personality that feel stable, balanced and in alignment.

Then, journal about things you feel are maybe out of balance, as well as any chronic pain that may arise in your experience.

This exercise is to help set you up for more consciously engaging with the following chakra section. As you move from chakra to chakra, be prepared to look at this original list and compare it with the information in each section to see if there are any parallels or connections.

Thanks for joining me here and I look forward to continue exploring with you.
