The Loving Christ
Brothers and sisters in Christ, it is time to rise.
It is time to shine. It is time to awaken from your slumber and beam the loving light of awareness that exists in your heart. It is time to embody your unrelenting conviction in goodness at an intensity and scale that you have been reluctant to embrace.
Now, I understand these are chaotic and confusing times. I understand the world’s problems often seem insurmountable, that the clouds of darkness in our skies seem too powerful to ever be lifted. But my brothers and sisters in Christ, you are children of God. And it has been said that if you have the faith of a mustard seed, you can move mountains. That means we, together, can move mountains with the love of Christ in our collective hearts, let alone dissipate darkened clouds.
But it is up to us, all of us. It is up to the collective we that makes up the living body of Christ, that gives lasting power to Christ’s love in this physical form to bring about this movement. Because it is this collective we that are Christ resurrected. It is the collective we that makes up the living body of Christ today, here, now in this present moment.
It is your mother and father that make up the left and the right side of the body of Christ. It is the builders and the workers and the healers that make up the heart and the hands of the body of Christ. It is the artists and the musicians, it is the laughter of children that make up the voice of the body of Christ. It is the teacher, the nurse, the caretaker, that make up the lungs of the body of Christ.
It is the therapist, the philosopher and the mentor that make up the mind of the body of Christ. And it is the farm and field workers, the bus drivers, the public servants, that make up the legs that keep the living body of Christ moving forward. It is the collective we that represents the light of Christ’s love in today’s world. And today’s world really needs that light.
Today’s world needs your open heart. It needs your curious mind. It needs your healing touch. It needs your precise insight. It needs your creative thought. It needs your unified vision, the one that sees all of us as an essential cell in this vibrant, dynamic, living and breathing body of Christ.
Make no mistake about it, there’s a lot of reasons to forget that we are all brothers and sisters. There’s a lot of reasons to believe that nothing is going to change anytime soon. And that is because the chains of injustice have weighed down so many for so long. But brothers and sisters, we can break those chains. We can break those chains. We can lift each other up if we do it together, if that is our intention.
We can split those shackles and we can release those chains, we can free each other, if we choose to look out beyond ourselves. If we look out beyond ourselves and we embrace our brotherhood, we embrace our sisterhood as children of God, we can free one another. Because you can see the shackles on me that I can’t see, and you can help free me if I am so willing, and I can see the shackles on your that you can’t see on you, and I can help free you if you are so willing. So together, with loving intention, with effort and persistence, we can choose to liberate one another, to give rise to the living body of Christ.
We are children of God. And because we are children of God, we are entitled to life. Because God gave us life. And as children of God, we are entitled to food and to shelter, and to medicine, because God provided us an abundant earth, one that provides all of those things and more. It is important to remember God provided long before men divided — don’t ever forget to remember that.
As children of God, we are entitled to safety and freedom, the kind of safety and freedom that allows us as brothers and sisters to know God for ourselves. We’re entitled to the freedom to explore philosophies and expressions and works of art and life’s experiences that bring us closer to God because that is God’s greatest wish. That we would know God and that God would know us. And that we would know one another as a single, unified family in Christ.
These are the promises of a just and loving God. And these promises will never be fulfilled by unjust and miserly men. Therefore, it is our duty to each other, it is our duty to our children, it is duty to our children’s children and generations to come, that we bring about fulfilling these promises, the promises that a just and loving God made to give us a just and loving experience.
It is our duty that we work together as brothers and as sisters to create a culture of conscience and wellbeing, to create a lived day-to-day experience where the love of Christ isn’t just an idea espoused in hollow halls, but a vital principle known, a visceral experience felt, a truth that is lived in the flesh. It is our duty together that we bring about the manifestation of Christ’s love in this way, not just for ourselves but for each other and future generations.
It is our duty to give ourselves and each other the means, the time and the freedom, to look inward and to discover, to discover that the light of Christ is in us. And it is our duty to ourselves and to each other, to allow the love of Christ to move through us freely. It is our duty that together we commit to build that experience, not on empty words, but with love filled intent and consistent action.
In all it is not just our duty, but it is our destiny to recognize that we are Christ’s loving mind incarnate. We are Christ’s fiercely compassionate heart. We are Christ’s healing hands. And now is the time to rise for a love that is felt and known. For a love that takes powerful form in your kindness, your generosity, your duty and your accountability to something bigger than yourself. Now is the time to give rise to a love that gives breath, that gives meaning, that gives life to Christ’s resurrected body in this historical moment.
It is not enough to just talk about Christ love. It is time for us to be Christ’s love in motion. To begin that journey, put aside the time each day to go inward, to meditate and pray, and ask The Loving Christ to show you directly how you may be a vessel for this transformative love. This is the call. Will you answer?

How to Define and Live Your Loving Spiritual Truth
This video is an invitation to define your own loving spiritual truth!
In the book I share a Pledge of Peace.
This pledge is my commitment to my loving truth.
But this journey is about you.
For this final prompt, let’s return to where we started.
When you have time, drop into a deep meditative space – in your own way – and journal your answer to the three questions posed in the very beginning of our time together:
Who am I?
What is my loving truth?
More often than not, am I living my life in alignment with my loving truth?
Remember, there are no right or wrong answers here, only what is true here and now.
Look at the answers you’ve written down now compared to where you started.
What has shifted?
What has changed?
What experiences do you feel inspired the moment you now find yourself in?
Reflect on the path you’ve walked and the growth you’ve enjoyed.
Thank you for being here with me!
Share your loving truth by living it in the world.
Onward!

Automatic Writing: A Meditation Technique to Access Your Inner Wisdom
This video is an introduction to the practice of using meditation to facilitate an automatic writing session for yourself.
For the next few weeks, try this routine at least once a week.
Grab a pen and paper and practice a soul-force field meditation to connect to your source of loving awareness.
When you get into that quiet peaceful space, simply ask divine loving awareness the following questions: “What do I need to know today for my highest spiritual good?”
Clear your mind, put your pen to the page and just write what comes out.
Next ask, “What action can I take to express my highest spiritual good in the world?”.
Let the words flow.
Finally ask, “What is the spiritual lesson I am working on right now?”
Once you’ve finished writing, give thanks for the opportunity to connect and give thanks for any wisdom that may have come through.
Read what came through back to yourself and see how it resonates and feels.
Consider applying the insight and wisdom in your life and see where it takes you.
Repeat this process as often as you feel serves you.
I appreciate you being here.

Creative Self-Expression as a Spiritual Practice: What It Reveals About You
Make some time to get into some creative play: craft a little, redecorate, take some photos – whatever your heart desires.
See if you can lose yourself in the process and be very present with what you are creating.
After you’re done, reflect on, journal or share what the experience was like. How did it feel to get creative again?
What was the process like? What kind of thoughts and feelings did you experience?
What did the creative process reveal about yourself today?
I recommend making a habit of taking time for a little creative play.
Keep an on-going journal and jot down reflections or revelations as they arise.
See what you can learn about your creative self as time goes on!
Share any reflections or revelations in the comments...I appreciate you being here!

Written Thought Observation: A Journaling Technique for Emotional Clarity
This video introduces you to written thought observation, an exercise I've used to channel my thoughts and become an outside observer of those thoughts once they are written down.
Try setting a timer for fifteen minutes. For the first seven or so minutes just begin to write what’s on your heart and mind without censoring yourself. Don’t hold back. Don’t judge. Let it flow.
After seven minutes, take three big energy clearing breaths. Then, go back and read what you wrote as objectively as you can with the rest of the time. This helps train you to become more objective with yourself.
Just read the words and try to see them in a way you would if you read another’s writing.
What do you notice about the energy and emotion of the handwriting, the language and the flow?
In addition to this exercise, another good practice is to try applying this writing technique the next time you’re having a difficult time focusing or if you’re emotionally aroused.
If you can, identify when you’re in this state and try to take a ten or fifteen minute break to allow yourself to free-write your feelings.
Read what you wrote back if you feel compelled, but do so with the intention to observe and analyze the sentiment rather than emotionally re-engage.
Thanks so much for being here!

Witnessing Meditation: How to Observe Your Thoughts Without Judgment
This lesson is an introduction to a witnessing meditation practice and an observational approach that I found useful on my spiritual path!
Set a timer for ten to fifteen minutes.
Drop into a soul-force field meditation and allow your thoughts, feelings and physical sensations to come and go.
Be with them and aware of them as they arise, but remain in a neutral state without naming, judging or engaging with them.
Just be a witness to them -- hence the name 'witnessing meditation!
See if you can simply inhale and exhale from one moment to the next, feeling these sensations, acknowledging them and then letting them go.
The same goes for thoughts. Simply inhale and exhale.
Let a thought come in, witness it, acknowledge it and then let it go.
Once your timer goes off, practice remaining in this neutral state for as long as you wish and/or can.
Answer for yourself, what does it feel like to be in your witnessing meditation?
Can you keep a neutral mind?
When is it hard to remain neutral?
When is it easy?
Journal or share what you find...I appreciate you being here!

Mindful Meditation for Beginners: A Simple Daily Practice for Self-Awareness
This is an introduction to a simple mindful meditation practice that has helped me on my spiritual journey.
Start setting aside five minutes a day to just sit and see what thoughts come in and out during your mindful meditation practice.
Set a timer for five minutes and just be with yourself.
In these quiet moments what do you notice arising? What comes to the surface? What thoughts? What feelings? What sensations?
Journal and reflect on what immediately tends to come up when you get silent.
Is it stress and anxieties or hopes and dreams? Sometimes both?
Use this practice as a way to become more aware of your internal life on a day to day basis.
Mindful meditation is a great teacher on our path to self-awareness!

How to Decondition Old Beliefs That Block Your Spiritual Growth
This video walks you through the process of deconditioning or unlearning.
For me, questioning my thoughts, ideas and beliefs about humanity, myself, God, the world and where those beliefs come from, how they serve me (or not) is a critical and ongoing process on the spiritual path -- as far as I can tell :)
Be sure to work through the questions in the book to help you move through this step to get the most benefit. As you continue this journey forward, start making a note or journaling a reflection when you notice yourself bumping up against an old idea, belief or sponsoring thought that does not serve you and your highest good.
For example, this would be like becoming aware in a moment of self-judgment if you start to talk down to yourself because you have this idea that you’re not lovable. This could also be aware of projecting a judgment onto another person without fully being open to experiencing the nuance of who they are in a given situation and context.
Write down and reflect on any moments like this that come up and then write for yourself a new script about how you’ll handle yourself the next time a similar thought or situation arises.

Do you tend to speak more from personal experience, in hypotheticals or speculative gossip?
Explore these questions for yourself. What do you find?

Introduction to the 7 Chakras: A Beginner's Guide to Your Energy Centers
This video is an introduction to the Chakras and the Chakra system. The word Chakra comes from ancient Sanskrit and translates to "wheel". These "wheels" relate to different aspects of our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual self.
They can be approached in ascending order: the root chakra, the sacral chakra, the solar plexus chakra, the heart chakra, the throat chakra, the third eye chakra and the crown chakra.
Take some time now to reflect on the colors you often worked with in the Conscious Release meditation. Which colors came up the most often? Take note of that and consider those colors as you move on and learn about the chakras.
Also, spend an evening in meditation and then journal about the aspects of yourself and your personality that feel stable, balanced and in alignment.
Then, journal about things you feel are maybe out of balance, as well as any chronic pain that may arise in your experience.
This exercise is to help set you up for more consciously engaging with the following chakra section. As you move from chakra to chakra, be prepared to look at this original list and compare it with the information in each section to see if there are any parallels or connections.
Thanks for joining me here and I look forward to continue exploring with you.

Soul Force Inventory: How to Audit Your Energy and Align Your Life
This video helps us begin the process of becoming more aware of who we are and who we are in relationship to all things around us including diet and fitness, the content we consume, the people, places and things we give our energy to.
First and foremost, please engage with the reflective questions in the book as this is a pivotal step on your journey. Next, let’s tune more consciously into your consumption habits – specifically diet and media for the next week – and start a journal. Write down what you eat, drink and consume in terms of media content on a daily basis.
Then, using your body tuning techniques, get clear about how your body intuitively feels in relation to what you consume for the week. What feels expansive and contractive? Consider asking yourself “Why?”. Journal and reflect on your discoveries.
In the following week, focus your journaling and reflections on your interactions with people as well as your physical environment. Be detailed, specific and really cue into the energy and vibrations you interact with and how they make you intuitively feel.
Use your body tuning awareness to help guide the process and journal your reflections and findings. Look for connections, patterns and correlations between that which feels expansive and what feels like contraction. Notice anything? Journal about it.
Give this a go. Lean into it as an exercise over and over and over again.
Appreciate you being here. See you in the next one!
